Dzitnup, Yucatán.

Cenote Dzitnup, Yucatán
Near Valladolid and Chichén Itzá, there is a beautiful Cenote called Dzitnup or Xkeken. Here you can take a swim inside a beautiful cave full of stalactites and amazing light effects, changing the atmosphere from blue to purple to other colors within minutes. You can bring or rent snorkeling gear to get inside and see what rests inside the water.

The water is a little bit cold but not to much, just be careful when approaching the water because its natural formations make the access harder at some points, so be sure to find the best way for your skills.
