Mitla, Oaxaca.

Mitla, Oaxaca

About half an hour from Oaxaca, in the same direction as if you were going to Hierve el Agua Falls, you will find Mitla ruins. Mitla was a prehispanic city destroyed by the spanions, only a few buildings are left.

You can visit the ruins, the church, a little market where you can buy clothes made by local people, handcrafts, souvenirs, Alebrijes, silver jewelry and some other stuff. There is also delicious regional food all over the place, so you can taste some new flavors here.

If you have the chance listen the explanations the guides provide, it´s quiet interesting and your visit will be more memorable.
